What?
The objectives of the club are to promote physical activity for all ages, especially youngsters from the age of 8 upwards, and to provide competitive opportunities for young talent to emerge. Training is based on running, jumping and throwing activities.

We aim to improve general fitness and co-ordination.

Who?
Children have to be at least 8 years old before we can accept them. They need to be at least 9 years old before they can participate in inter-club competitions.

Where?
We are based in Balerno, a village on the edge of Edinburgh and meet in Balerno High School, just outside the Games Hall where we take registration.

Driving from Edinburgh: Follow the Lanark Rd / A70 through Juniper Green, Currie and at the traffic lights turn left into Balerno. The High School is on your left hand side, and the entrance to the car park is immediately after the school building.
(Beside the High School is Malleny Park, home of Currie Rugby Club)

When?
Monday and Wednesday evening
s:  from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Balerno High School.

Thursday evenings at Saughton Track: 
Track sessions for older juniors (12+ and Adults). 6.30 - 7.30.

How Much?
It is £2.00 per evening at Balerno High School.
After a couple of weeks we will require those who wish to continue to join the club. The annual membership fee for juniors is currently £22.

What Else?
Harmeny Athletic Club is affiliated to Scottish Athletics. Our coaches are registered with Scottish Athletics.

Parents will be required to assist at training.
