Sat 3 Mar	Scottish Master Cross Country Championships, Bathgate. For those who can’t get enough of the mud

Sun 1 Apr	Edinburgh half marathon. (Improvements on last year promised by the organisers). Entry by 1 March www.edinburgh-forthside-half.co.uk
Sat 7 Apr	Dunbar 10k Sunny Dunbar-sur-mer, the start of spring. Entry form at http://www.dunbarrunningclub.supanet.com/Brform_2007.pdf
Dim 15 Avril	Marathon de Paris. Les 35000 places ont été distribuées en deux mois et comme l’an passé les retardataires devront attendre l’année prochaine pour obtenir leur ticket. (…ie it’s fully subscribed, start queuing for next year.) I think there’s about 12 runners and some bag-carriers going over.
Sun 15 Apr	Grangemouth 10k. For those not going to Paris, a trek round Grangemouth is almost as appealing.
Sat 21 Apr	Tri Club Launch Event (tbc once BHS pool re-opens)
Sun 22 Apr	London Marathon. Richard Gray and David Syme were awarded the club’s 2 places, and we wish them an enjoyable and successful run round London.

Sat 5 May	Edinburgh => North Berwick (22 Miles). Stay ahead of the sweeper bus.
Sun 6 May	Edinburgh 10k. Enter at www.greatrun.org (I’ve also got forms)
Sun 12 May	Penicuik 10k
Sun 13 May	Britannic Women’s 10k. The largest fun run (& walk & chat) in Scotland. Enter at www.runglasgow.org (I’ve also got forms)
Sun 13 May	2nd Annual H.W.U Round the grounds 5km run, Riccarton Campus Why not do a fast 5k in the afternoon instead of , or as well as the usual yomp.
Sat 19 May	Loch Leven Half A taper down event for those doing the Embra marathon
Sat 26^th May	Stornaway Half Contact Iain (449 6546) for info on weekend trip

Sun 19 Aug	Club 10k-&-a-bit pursuit handicap race. (Avoiding the Bank Holiday Week-end)

Sun 1 Sep	Great Scottish Run / Glasgow half & 10k
Sun 29 Sep	Linlithgow 10k

Sun 7 Oct	Loch Ness Marathon / 10k / 5k www.lochnessmarathon.com (& entry forms available)
Sat 14 Oct	Aviemore Half A good one to do, and as trophy winners, honour is at stake. As an additional incentive, we’ll make this a club medal event.
